  2. I'm glad there's more information on this case out there. Truly it's none of my business except that I'm a free citizen in this country that cares about liberty and justice and where our hardworking tax dollars are going. I absolutely love the show I saw Daniel's case on, but of all of them this is the one that left me thinking "there's so much more here." First the molestation defense would've nearly been enough to get charges reduced leaving him a much shorter sentence but he maintained his innocence. Second what was the confessed guy's motive? He couldn't have been hired to do a hit by a guy that couldn't afford even a motorcycle. Third, Daniel's story doesn't indicate he's a further risk to society in anyway so why is he still in the taxpayers dime? Too many unanswerable and unanswered questions in his own right Daniel seems a victim here and worse perhaps he's seen as a throw-away part of society. Those factors should've made him the perfect person to advocate for, a retrial is needed with a conscientious defense attorney in order to serve justice for the victim and all else involved. At the very least follow up with a show on the other guy who confessed, fill in the blanks in an independent neutral manner or parole this guy immediately. It's truly the only fair recourse.
